Special concerns about oxygen and other medical equipment

If the PAL MEDIF indicates that the patient needs oxygen, the Patient's own attending physician must certify in writing that the Escort will administer the Patient’s oxygen and take care of any of the Patient’s emergency procedures while in-flight. The Patient must get a more recent PAL MEDIF from the PAL Flight Surgeon dated within three days of departure.

The Patient must provide and be responsible for any other medical equipment he may need while in-flight, at the departure and arrival areas, and have this equipment cleared by the PAL Safety & Environment Department.
