SR. AIRCRAFT TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Job Summary     

 

      Monitors the timely implementation of the approved Maintenance Programs, modifications, repairs, compliance of Airworthiness Directives, and time-limited AMM procedures and conformance by the maintenance provider to contract provisions for maintenance and other related services on all PAL-owned and/or operated aircraft.Acts as the Aircraft Engineering Department administrative officer during weekends, holidays and beyond normal office hours 

     Qualifications

  • Must be a Filipino citizen
  • Graduate of an Engineering course (degree relevant to the maintenance of aircraft/aircraft components) or a 2 year aviation-related technical college education
  • At least 6 years aircraft/airline engineering or operations experience with 1 year experience in maintaining the same category and class of aircraft used by the AOC holder including 1 year in the capacity of returning aircraft to service for personnel with two years technical college education
  • Must have completed the following training programs: Ground Engineer’s Initial Course – all aircraft type applicable to PAL fleet;       EASA 145, FAR 145; New CAAP Civil Aviation Regulations Maintenance Course; Regulatory required management courses -Safety Management System/Human Factors
  • Holder of a current CAAP A&P License
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literate

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR - PAL Aviation School 
Position Code: FI-PALAS

  • Must be a Filipino citizen
  • Male, not more than 30 years old
  • At least 5'4 in height
  • Must have 20/20 vision
  • College Graduate (with good academic records)
  • With good command of the English language
  • Minimum of 500 hours flying time
  • Must possess the following licenses: CPL w/IR, GI,FI, Radio License

  • Advance exposure to computer systems/applications/software/automated systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluent in both English and Filipino
  • Business letter writing and excellent presentation skills are required

QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDITOR

  • Must be a Filipino citizen
  • Preferably not more than 30 years old
  • College graduate of an Engineering course, preferably Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering with at least 5 years aviation experience in the fields of Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering
  • Or graduate of a two-year Aircraft Maintenance course with at least 7 years aviation experience in the fields of Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering
  • Holder of a current RP-ATO A&P Mechanic or Specialist license
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literate
