Brian Armas (left), an 11-year old boy suffering from Leukemia, gets his wish to be a 'pilot' for a day at Philippine Airlines (PAL). His 'dream flight', using PAL's A320 flight simulator, was made possible through the efforts of Make-a-Wish-Foundation, PAL Foundation, PAL Flight Operations and PAL Corporate Communications Department.
The simulated flight from Manila to Singapore, supervised by PAL Capt. Jojo Nomorosa, allowed Brian to experience all the phases of a flight, including occasional air turbulence. He was awarded a certificate of flight completion upon 'landing' the plane.
