Country's Bet to the 2009 Ms. Universe
Millions of Filipinos, including colleagues from Philippine Airlines (PAL), will be cheering for PAMELA BIANCA MANALO, the country's bet to the 2009 Miss Universe pageant and a PAL domestic flight attendant on-leave, come coronation night August 24 at The Bahamas. 

Bianca's training as a cabin attendant – graduating with honors in July 2008 – and deep religious devotion helped her win the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe crown last March 7.  Bianca comes from a family of beauty queens: eldest sister, Katherine Manalo-Hernandez was finalist at the 2002 Miss World; while aunt Nini Ramos-Licaros was also finalist at the 1968 Miss International.
