MANILA – Philippine Airlines is offering a raft of special privileges, packages and other one-time-only promotional deals featuring fares up to 66% lower than normal rates during the upcoming 17th Travel Tour Expo, the flag carrier announced today.
Regarded as the country’s largest travel-trade show, the Expo is organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association and takes place from February 19 to 21 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. PAL is the official carrier of the event.
For starters, visitors to the PAL booth can avail of a two-day pass at Hong Kong Disneyland when they purchase tickets between Manila and Hong Kong. This promo, an exclusive tie-up between PAL and Hong Kong Disneyland, is available until February 28, 2010.
For those traveling on domestic routes, PAL is offering an all-inclusive fare of as low as P777 on one-way tickets between Manila and any point in Luzon or the Visayas (and also on the Cebu-Davao route), and P1,777 between Manila and any Mindanao point. These fares are valid for travel between July 1 and August 31, 2010.
Meanwhile, Mabuhay Miles members can add significantly to their balances when they purchase tickets at the PAL booth. A round-trip ticket to any domestic point earns 1,000 bonus miles while a round-trip ticket to an Asian destination earns 2,000 bonus miles. For a round-trip ticket to a trans-Pacific or Australian point, the customer earns 3,000 bonus miles.
Even more bonus miles can be earned when a PAL round-trip business-class ticket is purchased and traveled. Every round-trip Mabuhay Class ticket (except “Buy 1 Take 1” fares) purchased from February 19 to March 18, 2010 in the Philippines earns the equivalent miles of an economy award ticket on the same route.
Qualified routes include all Philippine domestic sectors and those originating Manila bound for Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Guam, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Fans of PAL’s popular holiday packages – PALakbayan for domestic and Swingaround for international destinations – will receive a 5% discount on their next package purchase.
The first 50 visitors to buy round-trip tickets from Manila to the US, Vancouver or Australia automatically get free tickets to the Cats Now & Forever musical to be staged here in the Philippines.
Finally, PAL has joined hands with two of the country’s leading banks, Allied Bank and Philippine National Bank, whose credit-card holders enjoy zero interest for up to three months on deferred payment when they purchase tickets at the PAL booth using their credit card.
Watch out for exciting news to be announced soon!
