Incapacitated passengers who travel frequently may apply for a Medical Card. Having one precludes the need for them to obtain a medical clearance each time they travel.

There are two types of Medical Card available:

Frequent Traveller's Medical Card (FREMEC)

A medical card honored by all IATA (International Air Transportation Association) member airlines. Philippine Airlines also honors the FREMEC card of other airlines.

Special Care Card

A medical card exclusive to Philippine Airlines' incapacitated passengers, and valid for use only on all Philippine Airlines flights.

How to Avail of FREMEC or Special Care Card

A Medical Information Sheet, available at any Philippine Airlines Ticket Office, must be accomplished by the passenger's physician and submitted to Philippine Airlines Medical Office in Manila for evaluation and processing.
