Travel Advisory

Flights Suspended Until April 30

06 Apr 2020

Advisory# 47
April 07, 2020

To our PAL Passengers:

We confirm that all Philippine Airlines domestic and international flights are cancelled up to April 30, 2020.

The continued pause in our operations is in compliance with the Luzon Enhanced Community Quarantine, which the Philippine Government has officially extended until April 30.  We are in the process of notifying affected passengers by e-mail (many of you may have already received a notification by now).

If you are booked on a cancelled flight, your current ticket is safe and remains valid. For your options, please see here: https://tinyurl.com/s9vp82n

For the month of May 2020:

We intend to resume operations by May 1, 2020, if warranted by Philippine and international authorities, global public health conditions and the travel environment.

We are setting plans to operate a reduced number of weekly flights on most domestic routes, as well as on our international routes to Japan, the USA, Canada, Guam, Australia, the U.K., Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taipei, Macau and Saudi Arabia.

We will announce the list of operating flights and routes as soon as possible, in an updated advisory, once the details are finalized.

Please note that flights to/from the following specific cities will remain cancelled during the month of May:  Auckland, New York JFK, Dubai, Doha, Perth, Melbourne, Port Moresby, and Sapporo.

However, we caution you that these plans are highly subject to change, depending on COVID-19 conditions: the duration of community quarantines, the status of travel bans and restrictions imposed by various governments and their impact on passenger demand, and above all on the public health and safety situation in each of the countries that PAL serves.

Kindly check our website www.philippineairlines.com, or follow our social media accounts, so that you'll be updated the moment we release advisories on new developments.

For both April and May, we will continue to operate occasional special flights to fly home stranded passengers or carry cargo shipments to keep intact critical supply chains across the Philippines and within the Asia/Pacific region.

Our deepest concerns and prayers go out to all the families who are coping with COVID-19, especially those who lost loved ones, and with the severe economic fallout. We salute the courageous medical professionals and other frontliners who are battling the outbreak every day, for the safety of everyone.

Thank you for your patience and kind cooperation.  Rest assured that your health and safety is always our first and most important concern.
