PAL rolls out tri-class A330 with New Premium Economy

Philippine Airlines recently upgraded the cabin lay-out of eight mono-class 414-seater A330-
300s into a 309-seater tri-class model with Business, Premium Economy and Economy class sections.

The reconfigured A330 will be utilized for Honolulu on June 2017. Other A330 tri-class planes will be unveiled in July for Melbourne and Shanghai, in August for Sydney, in September for Hongkong, in October for Narita, in November for Haneda and Osaka and in December for Singapore.

New Business Class: a premium experience with direct-aisle access for all

PAL’s Vantage XL seats from Thompson Aerospace deliver the ultimate travel experience. Each seat features an ultra-comfortable adjustable air cushion system for greater relaxation and, in fully flat bed mode, a better sleep. Plus lots of living space to eat, relax or work, all with enhanced privacy. And more than 50% of the seats are singles. Features include:

• Fully flat bed of 78 inches long with a seat/bed width of 23 inches

• All seats with direct aisle access

• Unprecedented comfort: adjustable air cushion system by Lantal

• Massage function

• 4-way headrest

• Individual reading light

• Shelf for small items with adjustable mood light

• Headphone hook

• Fabric seat cover with an extra layer of padding for enhanced comfort

Travelers can now pamper themselves with more space to relax and unwind. PAL’s new Premium Economy Class provides an upgraded experience in a dedicated zone just after Business Class. The new seats are packed with creature comforts:

• Spacious 2-3-2 configuration

• Generous 19.55 inch seat width, 38 inch pitch and 8 inch recline

• Legrest and foot support

• 4-way headrest

• Fabric seat cover with an extra layer of padding for enhanced comfort

• Wide center cocktail table

• Personal pull-out mini table

• Two dedicated pockets for small personal items

• Coat hook

• 13.3 inch touch screen monitor with on-demand entertainment

• AC power and USB port at every seat

PAL’s reconfigured A330-300s offer Economy Class passengers the extra space that can make all the difference on a long flight. With a focus on comfort and tranquil surroundings, the new brand new seats include:

• 18-inch seat width and 6-inch recline

• Spacious 32-inch seat pitch

• 4-way headrest

• Seat bottom cushion that moves forward when reclining for enhanced comfort

• Fabric seat cover with an extra layer of padding for enhanced comfort

• Wide armrests

• USB port at every seat

• Large 10.1 inch touch screen monitor



Brand new entertainment system for all 

PAL’s NEW myPAL eSuite personal TV from Zodiac Inflight Innovations give passengers access to a wide selection of content via touch screen monitors in all classes. The aircraft are also equipped with myPAL Wi-fi allowing passengers to surf, browse and stay connected.
