PAL Native Mobile App

The PAL Native Mobile App is an additional platform that will enable users to search and book flights, purchase ancillaries, check-in and view the flight status using their mobile devices anytime and anywhere. Existing Mabuhay Miles members can also log in using their Mabuhay Miles account.
 
How can I access PAL Native Mobile App?
The PAL Native Mobile App can be downloaded from Google Play for Android and from Apps Store for IOS.  Once you downloaded the App, it requires mobile internet or other wireless network to connect to the service.  Supported versions are Android mobile device running version 7.0 and above.  IOS Mobile device running version 10.0 and above.

How is it different from the previous Mobile app?
The PAL Native Mobile App, offers a new app experience with a completely re-worked user interface that caters to both Android and IOS users while, the previous Mobile App is available only to Android users.

How do I know that my payment and personal information is safe?
Transactions made through the App are protected using TLS encryption before sending your payment and personal information over the Internet.  To seamlessly and securely process credit card payment, customers must ensure their browser supports Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption, version 1.0 or higher.

What are the flights and type of journey can I book in PAL Native Mobile App?
You can book one-way or roundtrip domestic and international flights.

Can I book for today’s flight?
Yes. You can book a flight at least 2 hours before your desired departure time for Domestic and for International.

I want to book flight and purchase ticket for another person. Can I do it via PAL Native Mobile App?
Yes, you can book flight and buy a ticket for another person from the App.  It does not require the card holder to be the passenger or a member of the travelling party.

What are its features?
Aside from booking, you can also purchase ancillaries during the booking flow, check-in, view the flight departure and arrival via the flight status facility and view your flight details, add/update contact number and email address through the My Trips feature.

What is the mode of payment in the PAL Native Mobile App?
You can purchase tickets using MasterCard, Visa and JCB credit/debit card.  Other card brands will be accepted soon.
 
Can I retrieve bookings purchased from the PAL Native Mobile App to other channels?
Yes. Booking created from the App can be retrieved from other channels such as the PAL website, Ticket offices and Contact Center.  Soon, users will also have the capability to view and manage their booking through the App.
 
How would I know if I made a successful booking?
A confirmation page will be prompted on your screen. You will also receive an e-ticket itinerary receipt at the time of ticket purchase.

What is CVV/CVC? 

The CVV (Card Verification Value) or CVC (Card Verification Code) is the three-digit number located at the back of the card, immediately after the last four digits of the card number. CVV/CVC is a new authentication procedure established by card companies to further efforts towards reducing fraud for internet transactions.
 
It consists of requiring a card holder to enter the CVV/CVC number in at transaction time to verify that the card is on hand. The CVV code is a security feature for "card not present" transactions (e.g., Internet transactions), and now appears on most (but not all) major credit and debit cards. This new feature is a three-digit code which provides a cryptographic check of the information embossed on the card. Therefore, the CVV/CVC code is not part of the card number itself.

How do I make changes to the booking I made online?
If you wish to make changes on your booking, you may choose among the following options:

  • Access the Manage Booking through our website 
  • Call our Contact Center (+632) 8855 – 8888
  • Visit any Philippine Airlines Ticket Office

Penalties may apply depending on the conditions attached to the fare.
