Sports Equipment

Sports Equipment can be carried along with the normal baggage of a passenger. It will be subject for acceptance based on existing policies and conditions. It will also be assessed using the standard excess baggage fees except for the items mentioned below:


  • Snow Ski
  • Dimensions: Regardless of the actual dimension, it will be considered as a piece of baggage equivalent to 62 inches (158cms).


  • Set: Consist of one pair of snow skis, one pair of ski poles and one pair of ski boots. Any sets of snow ski equipment in excess of one will not be included in the free baggage allowance and will be assessed the applicable charge listed below:

         Piece System Charges:


    • First set after the Free Baggage Allowance, 25% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply
    • Succeeding sets, 100% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply 

         Weight System Charges:


    • First set after the Free Baggage Allowance, 33% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply
    • Succeeding sets, 100% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply


  • Golf Clubs
  • Dimensions: Regardless of the actual dimension, it will be considered as a piece of baggage equivalent to 62 inches (158cms).


  • Set: Consist of one golf bag containing golf clubs and one pair of golf shoes. Any sets of golf club equipment in excess of one will not be included in the free baggage allowance and will be assessed the applicable charge listed below:

         Piece System Charges:


    • First set after the Free Baggage Allowance, 50% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply
    • Succeeding sets, 100% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply 

         Weight System Charges:


    • Equivalent of 6kg Excess Baggage Charge shall apply
    • Succeeding sets, 100% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply
  • Required Packaging: The external container of the clubs must be sturdy and designed for shipping.



  • Surfboards/Wakeboards (not for wind surfing)

         Piece System Charges:


    • Surfboards/wakeboards will automatically be considered as an excess baggage
    • If the dimension does not exceed 109 in. (277 cm) in length: 100% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply
    • If the dimension exceeds 109 in. (277 cm) in length: 200% of the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply

         Weight System Charges:


    • Surfboards/wakeboards will be included in determining the free baggage allowance.
    • In excess of the Free Baggage Allowance, the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply

  • Required Packaging: The outer container must be strong enough as protection against dents and untoward scratches.



  • Sleeping Bag or Bedroll
  • Dimension: Regardless of the actual dimension, it will be considered as a piece of baggage equivalent to 62 inches (158cms)

         Piece System Charges:


    • In excess of the Free Baggage Allowance, the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply

         Weight System Charges:


    • In excess of the Free Baggage Allowance, the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply


  • Bicycle (single seat touring or racing bicycle, non-motorized)
  • Dimension: Regardless of the actual dimension, it will be considered as a piece of baggage whose outside linear dimension is 62 inches (158cms)

         Piece System Charges:


    • In excess of the Free Baggage Allowance, the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply

         Weight System Charges:


    • In excess of the Free Baggage Allowance, the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply
  • Required Packaging: Must be suitably packed, handlebars are fixed sideways. Tires must be deflated. Its lamps, mirrors and pedals must be removed. All other parts of the bicycle must be packed in a way they are positioned in the same direction of the main frame.


  • Suitably packed Fishing Equipment
  • Dimension: Regardless of the actual dimension, it will be considered as a piece of baggage equivalent to 62 inches (158cms)

         Piece System Charges:


    • In excess of the Free Baggage Allowance, the Excess Baggage Charge shall apply
  • Required Packaging:  Its main part should be retractable and must be packed in a sturdy container.
