Group Booking Terms and Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The quoted fare is based on the flight details stated above.
- The quoted fare is guaranteed based on the total number of passengers stated above. Reduction in group size entitles PAL to change the fare.
- The quoted fare is only guaranteed upon PAL's receipt of (a) INTERNATIONAL ITINERARY: email reply “AGREE” or “ACCEPT”, or (b) DOMESTIC ITINERARY: proof of payment for deposit / full payment.
- The quoted fare / total group fare is exclusive of applicable Taxes, Fees and Surcharges. For applicable Taxes, Fees and Surcharges, DTP/BSP/IATA agents shall refer to system-imposed Taxes, Fees and Surcharges.
- Fare rules, terms and conditions will apply unless otherwise specified.
- This Agreement is valid for tickets to be issued by DTP/BSP/IATA Agents. Otherwise, applicable charges shall be collected.
- DOMESTIC ITINERARY: Purely domestic itinerary shall require the settlement of deposit and full payment. Failure to settle deposit / full payment shall result in the immediate cancellation of the group blocking.
Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE
- INTERNATIONAL ITINERARY: Purely international itinerary or international itinerary with onward domestic segment shall require an email reply of either “AGREE” or “ACCEPT”. Failure to reply “AGREE” or “ACCEPT” shall result in the immediate cancellation of the group blocking.
Requesting Travel Agent must finalize the number of seats to be used before the final group size deadline. Otherwise, the original group size shall be considered final. For group blocking with itinerary to/from KOREA the final group size is mandatory and failure to provide the final group size shall result to the cancellation of the group blocking after the final group size deadline. - PENALTY APPLICATION:
DOMESTIC ITINERARY
No penalty shall be assessed in cases of the following:
- If cancellation is made on/before the deposit payment deadline, or
- If at least 90% of the total number of seats blocked is ticketed.
Any seat released in excess of the allowable seat reduction shall be subject to penalty depending on the time of group blocking request and seat release.

INTERNATIONAL ITINERARY
No penalty shall be assessed in cases of the following:
- If cancellation is made on/before the final group size deadline, or
- If at least 95% of the total number of seats blocked is ticketed.
Agency Debit Memo (ADM) representing penalty collection shall be issued if less than 95% of the total number of seats blocked is ticketed. Below is the schedule of penalty per seat. Failure to settle any current and outstanding Debit Memo shall result in the temporary suspension of the travel agents' ticketing facility. Ticketing function shall only be restored until such a time when the current and outstanding Debit Memo are fully settled.
SHORT HAUL
- Peak – Usd 150.00
- Lean – Usd 50.00
MEDIUM HAUL
- Peak – Usd 150.00
- Lean – Usd 75.00
LONG HAUL
- Peak – Usd 250.00
- Lean – Usd 100.00
The above penalties would apply to Regional/International itineraries with domestic add-on/combination.
PENALTY FOR NON-ISSUANCE OF VISA
- At time of contract signing / deposit payment to 16 days prior to departure – No penalty
- Less than 16 days prior to flight departure – Usd 50.00 per seat release
For non-issuance of Visa penalty to apply, proof of non-issuance of Visa must be presented. Otherwise, a normal penalty scheme shall apply. PNR created 15 days before departure or less shall be subject to the non-issuance of visa penalty, as applicable.
- For DTP agents, ADM for penalties shall be assessed in Philippine Peso based on the Airline Conversion Rate at the time of fare quotation.
- Complete passenger name, as reflected on the travel document, must be provided at least three (3) days prior to ticketing deadline.
- Philippine Airlines reserves the right to cancel or change flight schedule for confirmed and un-ticketed group reservation, whether due to force majeure or carrier-controlled change, without incurring liability for any indirect, special or consequential loss, expense or damage.
- This Agreement and the execution and performance hereof is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
- Any action brought by or against PAL arising out of this Agreement or for the execution or performance hereof will be brought only in the proper court of Pasay City, Republic of the Philippines or in any other venue at the sole discretion PAL to the exclusion of any other courts.
- This Agreement serves as an authorization for PAL to issue ADM for any applicable penalty.
- Upon replying with the word “AGREE” or “ACCEPT” the transacting Party accepts the flight details, quoted fare, and agrees to the Terms & Conditions stated herein.
