Founded in 1992, the Philippine Airlines Foundation (PAL Foundation) is the corporate social responsibility arm of Asia’s first airline.
The Foundation capitalizes on Philippine Airline’s airlift capacity to contribute to social welfare development and promote environmental sustainability – from providing assistance to the marginalized sectors to the conservation of the environment.
The Philippine Airlines Group commits to serve the Filipino people and invest in sustainable development.

PROGRAMS
Medical Travel Grant
PAL Foundation partners with medical organizations to help bring patients with serious medical conditions and their escorts to cities in the Philippines or abroad where they are provided with free medical treatment at specialized hospitals. The Foundation also transports medical volunteers to serve disadvantaged communities.
Humanitarian Cargo Grant
PAL Foundation makes use of PAL's transport capacity to help disaster-stricken and marginalized communities by airlifting relief goods and essential supplies.
Disaster Response
The Foundation also provides assistance to areas affected by calamities for the rescue, relief and rebuilding efforts of the communities.
Represent Pinoy
PAL Foundation grants travel assistance to underprivileged but outstanding Filipinos who represent the country in global competitions in the fields of sports, arts, and academics.
Mabuhay Miles with a Mission
A joint project of Mabuhay Miles and PAL Foundation that allows generous PAL Mabuhay Miles members to donate their unused flight miles to support the Foundation’s advocacies and programs

Community Outreach
The Foundation regularly organizes activities that provide assistance to underserved communities and sectors.
COVID-19 assistance
In line with PAL’s support for the government’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, PAL Foundation organizes initiatives to help alleviate the effects of the pandemic on the vulnerable sectors.
Underserved communities
The Foundation provides support to underprivileged children, elderly and persons with disabilities through livelihood programs, material donations and other intitiatives.
Environmental awareness
PAL Foundation is committed to the cause of protecting the environment, where livelihood of communities mostly depend on, by supporting programs for the conservation of the forests and marine biodiversity.
