PAL Ongoing International Flights

Travel Advisory #42
March 23, 2020

Philippine Airlines is operating a  limited number of international services to and from Manila in response to the Philippine government’s call to help foreign tourists return home and OFWs fly back to their places of work.

This is a developing situation and we may need to add or reduce flights as needed because of challenges related to the ongoing Luzon community quarantine and travel bans or restrictions imposed by various governments. We shall review the operational conditions on a day to day basis.
Please monitor your flight status regularly, and we will endeavor to provide updates should there be any changes.

FLIGHTS FOR MARCH 26 ONWARDS:
We will provide updated information on the list of flights in a separate update.
Please note, however, that we will be suspending flights on routes to/from Canada (Vancouver and Toronto).

FOR OUR PASSENGERS WHOSE FLIGHTS WERE CANCELED:

We are unable to rebook you automatically to the next available flight because a full restoration of our flights is not yet scheduled and the number of affected passengers is massive. We are working on the many challenges involved, but it will take some time.

We hope to have more certainty about the COVID-19 situation in the coming weeks, so we can set firm schedules and help you all with rebookings and alternative arrangements.

Kindly check our website www.philippineairlines.com, or follow our social media accounts, so you'll be updated the moment we release advisories on new developments.

You may also call our Hotline +632 8855-8888 once the volume of calls recede, as the hotline is presently coping with a huge surge of callers.

Thank you for bearing with us. We hope to serve you better soon.

PLEASE NOTE:
We continue to offer the normal range of air fares on all of our flights, including lower fares with standard conditions, as approved by the Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board and the regulatory authorities of the countries we serve. We have not increased fares in any of our cabin classes.

As a public service, we are now allowing free rebooking to all passengers who were originally booked on any flight from March 15 to April 30. Any applicable fare difference is waived for passengers flying on the same cabin class on their rebooked flight. (The same free rebooking and fare difference waiver privileges are also extended to passengers of flights outside the March 15 to April 30 period who are prevented from travel due to government-imposed travel bans, mandatory quarantine or flight cancellations due to COVID-19).

PAL continues to coordinate closely with government authorities in the interest of the health and safety of all our passengers.

Thank you for your understanding and kind cooperation.
