Several PAL flights to/from Kalibo cancelled due to Kalibo Airport Closure

Please be advised that Kalibo Airport has been declared temporarily closed to give way to repairwork on the terminal building. Damage to a portion of Kalibo Airport's roof and wall caused by Typhoon Ursula led authorities to issue the said notice.

PAL has thus cancelled the following December 26 flights to and from Kalibo:

PR 399 Beijing - Kalibo
PR 2969 Manila - Kalibo
PR 2970 Kalibo - Manila
PR 238 Kalibo - Cebu
PR 2240 Cebu - Kalibo
PR 2241 Kalibo - Cebu

We will mount replacement flights for the  affected passengers. Passengers with contact details on their Passenger Name Records (PNRs) will be notified on their new flight date through e-mail.  

You also have the option to rebook / refund within 30 days from your original flight date, with rebooking / refunding fees waived. Rerouting is an option, subject to zoning conditions.

Kalibo Airport is expected to re-open on December 27.

We continue to keep a close watch on the effect of Typhoon Ursula on the following stations: Manila / Tacloban / Legazpi / Calbayog / Catarman / Roxas / Kalibo / Caticlan / Busuanga / Siargao / Bacolod / Iloilo / Cebu / Dumaguete / Tagbilaran.

We encourage passengers travelling to and from these stations to check the status of their flights before proceeding to the airport.
