What is a mobile wallet? 
A mobile wallet is a way to carry your money inside your cellphone instead of an actual wallet. 

What is GCash? 
GCash is a BSP-regulated mobile money service that lets you buy load, purchase items, send and receive money, pay bills, and more using Globe, TM, or any other network. It’s like having your wallet inside your phone giving you hassle-free and safer ways to go cashless. That’s GCash! 

How do I pay using Gcash?

Please make sure that you have created a GCash account before choosing GCash to pay for your ticket. There are 3 easy ways to start your Gcash account https://www.gcash.com/getting-started.


How do I fund my GCash Wallet? 
You must ensure that you have enough funds in your GCash wallet for your desired transactions.The process of funding your GCash Wallet (or converting your regular cash to GCash) is called Cash-In. You can Cash-In through BPI Mobile Banking, MoneyGram, Western Union, RCBC Mobile Banking, UnionBank Mobile Banking, PayPal Funds Transfer and MasterCard/Visa debit cards found in the GCash App, or by going to any GCash Partner Outlets (GPOs), including Globe Stores, Puregold, SM Business Center, Cebuana Lhuillier, Villarica Pawnshop, Tambunting Pawnshop, RD Pawnshop, and 7-Eleven Cliqq Kiosks.

What is an MPIN? 
The Mobile Personal Identification Number or MPIN is a four-digit passcode that you will use for all your GCash transactions. This will be asked upon registration through the GCash App, Messenger, or USSD. For your protection, do not share your MPIN and delete all messages containing your MPIN immediately. 

How do I change my MPIN? 
Changing your MPIN is easy! To change your MPIN using the app, click on your account on the top left of the main screen and click Settings. To change your MPIN by using USSD (dialing *143#), select GCash, then account, then change MPIN. 

I got an unauthorized transaction. What do I do? 
Please check the SMS you received in regards to the details of this transaction. You can also view your Transaction History on the dashboard of your GCash App. It might have been that your previous purchase only recently pushed through. You might also have only forgotten about your transaction. 
If you are sure that you did receive an unauthorized transaction, please reach out to us at @gcashcare (FB Messenger) or call 2882 for free – we’d be happy to help you! – and provide the details of your transaction as written on your SMS or Transaction History on the app.

How do I make sure that the transaction was processed?
You will receive a confirmation/itinerary receipt when the purchase is made to confirm that the transaction and payment have been completed.
 
What should I do if I have not received the confirmation/itinerary receipt?

Please email onlinebooking@philippineairlines.com or call PAL reservations at (+632) 8855-8888. If there is a problem with the payment, you should be able to receive a payment timeout notification prompt.

 
Why am I getting a timeout response?
You are getting a timeout response because our payment gateway was unable to complete the payment transaction. It could be because you have been inactive on the page for a long time, the transaction was discontinued or abandoned, or there was a network or power failure.
 
What do I need to do when I get a timeout response?

You need to contact Gcash to confirm if the transaction was not charged to your account. If the transaction was not charged, you will need to create another booking. If the transaction was charged but you did not get a confirmation/itinerary receipt, please email onlinebooking@philippineairlines.com or call PAL reservations at (+632) 8855-8888.

 
What is the currency that will be charged to my account?
All transactions paid using Gcash will charged in PHP.

Can I pay with my Gcash account for my airfare at the PAL Ticket Office?
No.  GCash is only accepted in the PAL website.
 
Can I pay with my Gcash account for the airport baggage or excess baggage fees?
No.

How can I file for a refund if I used Gcash?

For refund, you may proceed to the PAL ticket office near you or call PAL reservations at (+632) 8855-8888..
