BUTUAN (BXU) Travel Guidelines

Travel Permission

  • MGCQ: February 01 – 28, 2021
  • Allowed*

General Requirements

  • Presentation of Medical Clearance Certificate issued before travel
  • To undergo health check and isolation (14 days) upon arrival
  • Presentation of other Certification as agreed by the Agencies (for finalization)
  • Travel authority for Uniformed personnel / Government officials and employees
  • Must be tested negative at point of origin
  • Negative test result must be presented and must not be older than five (5) days prior to their travel date
    • Test result to be presented may be a negative Rapid Antibody Test (RAT) or RT-PCR test or Antigen test by all passengers TO and FROM Butuan.
 Requirements for Transit at Butuan Airport
  • Negative RT-PCR / Antigen / RAT test which shall not be older than dive (5) days prior the travel date
  • Travel Authority
  • Medical Certificate
  • Certificate of non-issuance of Travel Order / Medical Certificate from the LGU  concerned and other competent agencies from the point of origin

 NOTE: If a passenger cannot present item (2) and (3) as there are LGUs and other competent agencies from their point of origin that no longer issue above documents, the same may be allowed to board subject to the CAAP and Airline concerned approval or item (4) may suffice.

These rules are subject to change by the issuing local government authority and are issued for our passengers’ and the public’s safety.  As these requirements may change at short notice, the advisories above serve as a general guide.

*CAAP list of airports with LGU Clearance to resume commercial flights.  Some airports, while allowing the resumption of commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.
