  • LGU travel requirements. Traveler must contact their LGU and show their list of requirements set by the final destination as proof of their coordination.

CAGAYAN DE ORO (CGY) Travel Guidelines

Travel Permission

  • Alert Level 2: January 16 – 31, 2022
  • Learn more about Eligible Passengers for Domestic Travel
  • Cagayan de Oro City shall be placed under Alert Level 3 from January 16 – 31, 2022

  • The province of Misamis Oriental shall be placed under Alert Level 3 from January 16 – 31, 2022

Who are NOT ALLOWED to travel:

  • Below eighteen (18) years old, those who are over sixty-five (65) years of age
  • Pregnant women, persons who have immunodeficiency, comorbidity, or other health risks
  • Local/Foreign – Visitation/Vacation/Tourism
  • Wake of non-direct family
  • Attending gatherings weddings of non-direct family

 

Note: Passengers traveling to other destinations and only using Cagayan de Oro or any city/municipality of Misamis Oriental as their entry point must contact their respective local government units for the most updated travel requirements and quarantine protocols.

Cagayan de Oro City

STRICT IMPLEMENTATION OF BASIC TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS VIA  LAGUINDINGAN AIRPORT

  • Generated Travel Permit thru S-PaSS (https://s-pass.ph/clients/registration_captcha) as mandated by the National IATF.
  • Register to Stay Safe (https://www.staysafe.ph/register) and generate QR Code as mandated by the National IATF.
  • LGU travel requirements (traveler must contact their LGU and show their list of requirements set by the final destination as proof of their coordination). The traveler should contact the LGU destination as part of the protocols.

STRICT IMPLEMENTATION OF BASIC TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR CAGAYAN DE ORO DESTINATION (CDO Inbound Travelers)

  • NO Travel Requirement of Medical Clearance Certificate, Travel Authority, Letter of Acceptance and Negative RT-PCR (Swab/Saliva) or Rapid Test Result

PROTOCOL ON PORT ARRIVAL AND EXIT

  • Mandatory Clinical and Exposure Assessment under the supervision of medical doctors
  • Symptom-screening for APOR from national government agencies and attached agencies and presentation of their ID card, travel order and travel itinerary.
  • Travelers are allowed to use public transportation bound to the city;
  • Travelers are allowed for private transportation pick-up given that the vehicle only carries the driver and the inbound traveler/s – except for special cases like traveler is a person-with-disability (PWD), or in a state- in-need of assistance or medical care
  • Strict compliance to the Minimum Public Health standards – social distancing, hand hygiene, cough etiquette, wearing of face mask and face shield.
  • For outbound travelers, no restrictions from departing LGU even in MECQ status. Traveler must comply with travel requirements of the destination.

Misamis Oriental Province

LSI (Locally Stranded Individuals) / ROF (Returning Overseas Filipinos)

RETURNING OVERSEAS FILIPINO (regardless of vaccination status)

 

  • Negative RT-PCR test result taken within seventy-two (72) hours prior to departure
  • Valid government ID

 

NOTE:

Children from 6 years old and below are exempted of the abovementioned requirements, unless symptomatic.


APOR (Authorized Persons Outside of Residence)

  • Negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to departure

  • Travel Order
  • Travel Itinerary
  • Must pass symptom-screening upon arrival at the airport and/or city/municipality
