ILOILO (ILO) Travel Guidelines

Travel Permission

 Reminders
  • In compliance with the travel restrictions of the Province of Iloilo, passengers bound for Iloilo must take note of the following flight schedules:
    • Iloilo City residents may take any of the daily Manila-Iloilo flights.
    • Iloilo Province residents will be accommodated every Monday (25 passengers per flight), Wednesday (75 passengers per flight), and Friday (25 passengers per flight).
    • Guimaras Province residents will be accommodated every Friday (5 passengers per flight).
    • There are no passenger restrictions on Iloilo to Manila flights.
  • Iloilo Airport may only accept pax destined to Iloilo Province, Iloilo City and Guimaras Province

 

Moratorium:

LSI

  • Municipality of Carles, Province of Iloilo from February 20, 2021 to March 05, 2021
  • Municipality of Miagao, Province of Iloilo from February 20, 2021 to March 05, 2021

ROF (Returning Overseas Filipinos) and

LSI (Locally Stranded Individual)

  • Travel Authority (if applicable, as prescribed by the National IATF)
  • Notice of Coordination and Acceptance through the Iloilo City Emergency Operations Center (IC-EOC)
  • The Iloilo City Government shall provide for a means of transportation to receive them at the airport and immediately transport to Jubilee Hall, Mabini, Iloilo City for proper recording to monitor compliance of the LSI’s and ROFs to the mandatory RT-PCR testing and update and endorse to quarantine facilities or respective BHERTS of the arrival of said travelers.
  • Option of submitting themselves for quarantine in quarantine facilities provided by the city, hotel or accommodation establishments or to observe strict home quarantine when the circumstances allows
  • Observe strict 14-day home quarantine (under monitoring by BHERTs)
  • Once a negative RT-PCR test result is obtained, they shall be allowed to return to normal activities

APOR (Authorized Persons Outside of Residence)

  • Will be staying in Iloilo City for less than 24 hours
    • Obtain a Notice of Coordination and Acceptance
    • Secure a negative RT-PCR test having issued for not more than 72 hours prior to departure
  • Will be staying in Iloilo City for more than 24 hours
    • Obtain a Notice of Coordination and Acceptance
    • Accomplish an Undertaking to comply with the mandatory RT-PCR test
    • After being swabbed, the APOR may opt to take a taxi or arrange private transportation to their chosen quarantine facility
    • Pending results of their RT-PCR, APOR must subject themselves to mandatory quarantine
    • Observe strict 14-day quarantine (under monitoring by BHERTs)
    • Once a negative RT-PCR test result is obtained, they shall then be allowed to return to normal activities


APORS traveling for MEDICAL Purposes

  • Obtain a Notice of Coordination and Acceptance
  • Secure certification from physicians, hospital or medically qualified healthcare provider indicating the medical services/procedures to be rendered for the said APOR.
 
  • Notice of Coordination indicating their temporary place of abode while in Iloilo City
  • Letter of Acceptance from local government through Iloilo City Emergency Operations Center (IC-EOC)
  • All travelers are mandated to submit themselves to RT-PCR testing immediately upon arrival notwithstanding whether Iloilo City is the end destination or merely a stop-over
  • Option of submitting themselves for quarantine in quarantine facilities provided by the city or to observe strict quarantine at their hotels/accommodation establishments of choice or at their host’s household when the circumstance allows
  • Those who obtain negative RT-PCR results will be released and endorsed to them
  • Confirmed cases will have to complete 14-day quarantine
  • Once a negative RT-PCR test result is obtained, they shall then be allowed to return to normal activities
 TOURIST 
 
  • Notice of Coordination indicating their temporary place of abode while in Iloilo City
  • Letter of Acceptance from local government through Iloilo City Emergency Operations Center (IC-EOC)
  • All travelers are mandated to submit themselves to RT-PCR testing immediately upon arrival notwithstanding whether Iloilo City is the end destination or merely a stop-over
  • The Iloilo City Government shall provide for a means of transportation to receive them at the airport and immediately transport to Jubilee Hall, Mabini, Iloilo City for proper recording to monitor compliance of the travelers to the mandatory RT-PCR testing and update and endorse to quarantine facilities or respective BHERTS of the arrival of said travelers.

ILOILO PROVINCE

  • LSI and ROF

For those coming from High Risk Areas

  • 14-day quarantine in LGU facility upon arrival, or may opt to be quarantined in a commercial/tourism accommodation establishment at their own expense
    • ROF (except OFWs traveling under the auspices of the OWWA) and LSI shall secure
  • Medical Certificate from the originating/sending LGU
  • Travel authority from the Chief of Police or higher command, provided that Provincial Governors, in coordination with the PNP, may also issue travel authority to their returning constituents, provided that it shall not be valid for any return trip 
    Notice of Coordination issued by receiving city/municipality and/or province
  • Return of ROF and LSI shall be subject to coordination with, and acceptance of, either the Province or the Municipality of destination
    •  Government ID indicating permanent address
  •  LSI and ROF (who are not returning or travelling as organized by the OWWA):
    • Shall be required to present a valid government issued ID
    • The issuance of boarding pass shall require Medical Certificate and Travel Authority
  •  Charter flights of OFWs shall be separate from the flights carrying LSI passengers.

Please note that there may be multiple travel requirements for each destination on national and provincial levels. These rules are subject to change by the issuing local government authority and are issued for our passengers’ and the public’s safety.  As these requirements may change at short notice, the advisories above serve as a general guide.

*CAAP list of airports with LGU Clearance to resume commercial flights.  Some airports, while allowing the resumption of commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.
