ZAMBOANGA (ZAM) Travel Guidelines

Travel Permission

  • MGCQ: February 01 – 28, 2021
  • Allowed*

Reminders

  • Confirmation permit issued by the City Tourism Office for all flights bound for Zamboanga
  • MGCQ is in effect for the province of Sulu until January 31, 2021 as classified by the IATF-MEID.
  • The SULU Task Force COVID-19 issues travel restrictions for inbound and outbound passengers starting from January 04-17, 2021.
  • Allowed to Travel:
    • Only Uniformed Personnel (AFP, PNP, BFP, PCG, BJMP) and Health Workers

­   -  Official Travel Order from their Head of Office

­   -  TF COVID Shield Travel Clearance from PNP

­   -  Travel Authorization from the Chairman of Sulu Task Force COVID-19

­   -  Negative RT-PCR result of not more than five (5) days upon entry to Sulu

    • Medical emergency requiring hospitalization

LSI and ROF

  • Medical Clearance – from the local health office (CHO/MHO and PHO) stating that they have no flu like symptoms like cough, cold, fever and or loose bowel movement (LBM)
  • Travel Authority – from the local PNP
  • Coordination Pass from the City Tourism Office in Zamboanga
  • All Zamboanga City Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF) and Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI) are required to coordinate with the City Government of Zamboanga by registering through the link: https://forms.gle/SsohxPF3UHQmyPE8A
  • Medical Certificate, Travel Authority, Government-issued ID and Proof of Residency in Zamboanga City are required for the Coordination Pass. If the passenger has no Coordination Pass upon arrival, ROF and LSI may be subject to 14-day facility-based quarantine and RT-PCR swabbing at their own expense.
  • Negative RT-PCR test result (5 days validity)

Note: Despite the existing LSI moratorium, LSI bearing negative RT-PCR test result with 5 days validity may be accepted

  • All ROF and LSI bound for Zamboanga City are now subject to a 14-day facility-based quarantine. Collection of specimens for COVID-19 testing shall be undertaken and submitted to DOH or other accredited laboratory for testing.
 APOR (Authorized Persons Outside of Residence)
  • APOR who will temporarily leave but will return to Zamboanga City

  •  Exit-Entry Authorization Pass from the City Government of Zamboanga through ZCDRRMO
  • submit letter requesttravel order (Business Permit for business travelers of small, medium, and large business enterprises), and government -issued ID to ZCDRRMO
  •  APOR who will travel to critical areas and upon returning to Zamboanga City
  •  1-4 day stay in the critical areas – APOR shall need to secure Medical Clearance Certificationwhich shall only be valid for 14 days from issuance by C/M Health Officer and DOH-accredited hospitals
  • Exceeds 4 day stay in critical areas – APOR should be subjected to RT-PCR test and provide copy of the result to City Government of Zamboanga / ZCDRRMO
  • If APOR was not able to obtain an RT-PCR, passenger will be tested in Zamboanga City and to be determined whether passenger will be quarantined by health authorities
  •  APOR coming into Zamboanga City

  •  Entry Authorization Pass from the City Government of Zamboanga through ZCDRRMO
  • APOR should submit letter requesttravel order (Business Permit for business travelers of small, medium, and large business enterprises), and government -issued ID to ZCDRRMO through zcdrrmo2014@gmail.com
  •  APOR coming from areas placed under GCQ and MGCQ

  •  Medical Clearance Certification (shall only be valid for 14 days from issuance) issued by City Health Office / Municipal Health Office or any DOH accredited institutions that the APOR is neither a contact, suspect, probable nor a confirmed COVID-19 case was tested negative through RT-PCR;
  • Government issued IDCorresponding Travel Order / Business Permit (for Business Travelers (small, medium, large business enterprise owners)
  •  APOR coming from areas placed under ECQ or MECQ

  •  Medical Clearance Certification (shall only be valid for 14 days from issuance) issued by City Health Office / Municipal Health Office or any DOH accredited institutions that the APOR is neither a contact, suspect, probable nor a confirmed COVID-19 case was tested negative through RT-PCR;
  • RT-PCR test result yielding negative result within 5 days from release of result, otherwise will be subjected to facility-based quarantine for appropriate RT-PCR swabbing at their own expense;
  • Corresponding Travel Order / Business Permit (for Business Travelers (small, medium, large business enterprise owners); Government issued ID
  •  All APOR coming to Zamboanga City for Rest and Recreation

  •  present RT-PCR test result yielding negative result within 5 days from release of result, otherwise will be subjected to facility based quarantine for appropriate RT-PCR swabbing at their own expense.
  •  Travel by small, medium, and large business enterprise owners (coming from areas placed under GCQ or MGCQ)

  •  Frequent Travelers Pass issued by Office of the City Mayor; Travel Authority from TF COVID Shield; Medical Clearance Certification (shall only be valid for 14 days from issuance) issued by City Health Office / Municipal Health Office or any DOH accredited institutions that the APOR is neither a contact, suspect, probable nor a confirmed COVID-19 case was tested negative through RT-PCR
  •  Travel by small, medium and large business enterprise owners (coming from areas placed under ECQ or MECQ
  •  Frequent Travelers Pass issued by Office of the City Mayor; Travel Authority from TF COVID Shield; Medical Clearance Certification (shall only be valid for 14 days from issuance) issued by City Health Office / Municipal Health Office or any DOH accredited institutions that the APOR is neither a contact, suspect, probable nor a confirmed COVID-19 case was tested negative through RT-PCR; RT-PCR test result yielding negative result within 5 days from release of result, otherwise will be subjected to facility-based quarantine for appropriate RT-PCR swabbing at their own expense.
  • Reminder for passengers traveling to Sulu

*CAAP list of airports with LGU Clearance to resume commercial flights.  Some airports, while allowing the resumption of commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.
