Before the Flight

Point of Booking All ticket offices will have thermal scanning, managed social distancing, and transparent counter barriers. Our service personnel will be equipped with face masks and gloves. We will implement a no-mask-no-entry policy in our ticket offices. |

At the Airport We will do our best to enforce social distancing while passengers are waiting, on queue, or inside PAL shuttle buses. Passengers can expect thermal scans at entry points, distribution of locator forms that they would need to fill out, sanitizers available at designated areas, and other security checks.
We are implementing contactless boarding procedures in all Philippine domestic flights, and international flights from Manila to Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and the Middle East.
Our boarding gate staff shall conduct visual-only inspection of documents. Passengers shall be instructed to self-tear and self-scan their boarding passes at the boarding gate.
Our airport staff will be equipped with face masks and face shields. Passengers must also wear their face masks and face shields all the time.

The Covid-19 testing centers are located at the PAL Learning Center (PLC), Padre Faura, Manila and PAL Gate 3, Andrews Avenue, Pasay City. RT-PCR Tests cost PHP 3,300 with results released in 24 hours, and Antigen Tests cost PHP 700 with results released in 30 minutes. At PAL Learning Center (PLC), RT-PCR and Antigen testing is available via drive-thru or walk-in and is open daily (Monday-Sunday, including holidays) from 8AM to 8PM. At PAL Gate 3, RT-PCR and Antigen testing is available via drive-thru or walk-in and is open daily (Monday-Sunday, including holidays) from 12:00 NN – 08:00 AM. Operation starts at 8PM on Mondays.
