Manage Booking

Manage My Booking feature enables PAL passengers with existing tickets to make flight adjustments such as purchasing travel extras, rescheduling, rerouting and update frequent flyer/contact information of previously booked/ ticketed PAL tickets on their own without the need to call the PAL hotline or visit PAL ticketing offices.

How do I access the Manage My Booking feature?
You can access the Manage My Booking feature in these simple steps:

  1. Simply visit our website at www.philippineairlines.com
  2. Click on the Manage My Booking menu found below our home page banner
  3. Type in your Booking Reference number and Last Name to retrieve your booking
  4. Click Retrieve your booking to start making changes to your flight or contact information

What type of tickets can I reschedule/ reroute using Manage Booking?
Only unused tickets issued through the PAL Website/, Mobile App, payment partners, contact center and ticket office and which meet the following criteria can be changed through the Manage My Booking feature:
  • Ticket should have the same currency as the currency of origin country
  • Ticket must be Purely Domestic one-way and round-trip tickets
  • Ticket must be Purely International one-way and round-trip tickets with Philippine Travel Tax already PAID (if originating from Philippines)

What do I need to know when I manage my flights?
PAL passengers with online purchased tickets to be rescheduled or rerouted must have the following:
  • Last Name of Passenger
  • Confirmation/ Reservation Number

What can I change using Manage Booking?
You can make changes to your flight date, time, origin/destination, and contact information, add/purchase prepaid baggage 4 hours prior to your original flight departure. 
You can also add/purchase ancillary items such as seats and travel insurance 4 hours prior to your original flight departure.
Please note that standard rules on change fees, fare differences and non-refundability will still apply for changes made through the Manage My Booking feature. 

What if I want to change my flight or contact information less than 24 hours prior to my original flight departure?  
For changes less than 24 hours prior to your original flight departure, please contact our hotline at (+632) 8855-8888 or visit any PAL Ticket Office nearest you to ensure that your desired changes are effected in our system.

Can I also change or update the travel extras or ancillary service I originally purchased?  such as Choice seats, prepaid baggage or travel insurance?

You can adjust the coverage period of your previously purchased Travel Insurance to your new itinerary by calling our PAL Travel Insurance Customer Service at (+632) 8859-2655 (Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.), PAL Travel Assistance (24 Hour Emergency Travel and Medical Assistance) at (+632) 8846-2171 or email paltravelinsurance@pnbgentravel.com

Prepaid baggage and Choice seats are non-refundable and non-rebookable.  Changes in your itinerary will forfeit these previously purchased ancillary services.    You may request them again for your new destination subject to the applicable charges and fees. 

Will there be any charges if I make changes to my flight itinerary? How do I pay for them?
Standard change fees and fare differences will still apply in case your desired change results in a higher fare. 
In cases where your desired change results in a lower fare, the excess amount you initially paid for your original itinerary is non-refundable. 
You can conveniently pay for any charges using your valid credit card (Visa, Master, JCB, American Express) to finalize changes.  Please contact us immediately if you do not receive a payment confirmation from your credit card company so we can help you finalize your transaction.

I don’t have a credit card, can I pay for any additional charges using cash?
We regret that Manage My Booking feature only accepts credit card transactions. Our PAL ticket offices will gladly assist you in changing your flight itinerary and finalize your transaction by accepting cash payments. Please contact our PAL hotline or visit any PAL Ticket Office near you.  

I booked a ticket for multiple passengers in one (1) booking reference number.  I would like to change the itinerary of some of the passengers and cancel the booking for the rest who will no longer be joining us.  Is this possible through Manage My Booking? 
The Manage My Booking can only accept transactions where the same changes will be applied to all passengers in the same booking reference number.  
For multiple changes in one booking reference number or for cancellation/refunds, please contact our PAL hotline or visit any PAL Ticket Office near you. 

What change requests that are not supported by Manage Booking feature?
Changes to the following bookings cannot be supported by the Manage My Booking feature:
  • Tickets purchased through travel agencies
  • multi-city or open jaw bookings, i.e. where return flight is from a different airport/city than the one you arrived in.  (e.g. Manila-Cebu-Iloilo, Manila-Iloilo-Bacolod-Manila)
  • purely regional/international one way or roundtrip tickets originating from the Philippines where the Philippine Travel Tax is not yet paid
  • Roundtrip tickets where one of the sectors has already been flown
  • Cancellation and refunds
