Distancing Seats on Domestic Flights

07 7 2020

Advisory 90
July 8, 2020

From July 15 onwards, we are suspending our Distancing Seat option for all domestic flights so we can free up the current limited domestic capacity to serve the urgent public need:  bringing stranded individuals and OFWs home, and helping authorized travelers get to their destinations for essential work reasons.   This is necessary because domestic flights are still subject to local government (LGU) restrictions and controls that limit the number of flights or routes we can operate, and/or require airlines to change schedules, cancel flights, downgrade to smaller aircraft, and other continuing adjustments.

Rest assured that we undertake strict safety measures on all of our flights to protect the health and safety of our passengers, including an intensified aircraft cleaning and disinfection regimen, a high-tech cabin air circulation and filtration system that ensures clean and constantly refreshed cabin air, a no-mask-no-fly policy, full personal protective equipment (PPE) for our crew and a low-contact inflight service.
Thank you.
