There is a possibility that your flight will arrive in CEBU (Mactan Cebu International Airport / CEB) instead of in Manila, because of unavoidable limitations in the testing and quarantine processing capacity at Manila airport.

We are continuing to coordinate with the aviation and health authorities in both Manila and Cebu to either retain our original plan for landing in Manila (if there are improvements in the testing and quarantine situation), or reroute the flights to land in Cebu instead (if testing facilities in Cebu are fully set up and available on the planned arrival days).  Confirmation of these arrangements would enable us to operate these flights rather than be compelled to cancel them.

If your flight arrives in Cebu, you will undergo the required COVID testing in Cebu rather than in Manila, and quarantine at a Cebu hotel accredited by the Department of Health.  Once you receive a negative test result (usually within 24 to 48 hours of the test), PAL will arrange to transport you from Cebu to Manila, at no extra charge. (Please note that the cost for COVID tests and quarantine hotels will be borne by the traveler, whether the tests and quarantine take place in Cebu or Manila.)

For flights whose routings are changed to arrive in Cebu, we will make the appropriate announcement once landing arrangements are confirmed.

Please keep checking daily our social media accounts or our website www.philippineairlines.com to stay updated on schedule changes and other developments.

This is just a "heads up" at this point for your advance knowledge. Our goal is to operate as many flights as possible to help more travelers return home, thus our constant efforts to find alternative solutions to any unavoidable obstacles.

Thank you for your kind patience and understanding.
