Flights Suspended Until May 15

26 4 2020

Advisory# 52
PHL Local Time April 24, 2020

To our PAL Passengers:

We confirm that all Philippine Airlines domestic and international flights are cancelled up to May 15, 2020.

The continued pause in our operations is in compliance with the Luzon Enhanced Community Quarantine, which has been further extended by the Philippine Government until May 15th.  We are in the process of notifying affected passengers by e-mail (many of you may have already received a notification by now).

If you are booked on a cancelled flight, your current ticket is safe and remains valid. For your options, please see here: https://tinyurl.com/y9vbd98c .

For May 16 onwards:

We intend to resume operations by May 16, 2020, if warranted by Philippine and international authorities, global public health conditions and the travel environment.

We are setting plans to operate a reduced number of weekly flights on most domestic routes and on selected international routes.

We will announce the list of operating flights and routes, once the details are finalized.

However, we caution you that these plans are highly subject to change, depending on COVID-19 conditions: the duration of community quarantines, the status of travel bans and restrictions imposed by various governments and their impact on passenger demand, and above all on the public health and safety situation in each of the countries that PAL serves.

Kindly check our website www.philippineairlines.com, or follow our social media accounts, so that you'll be updated the moment we release advisories on new developments.

PAL will continue to operate occasional special flights to repatriate stranded passengers and to carry cargo shipments to transport urgent medical equipment and supplies to help sustain critical supply chains across the Philippines.

Thank you for your kind cooperation.  Rest assured that your health and safety is always our first and most important concern.
