PAL TO OPERATE FLIGHTS DURING RADAR SYSTEM UPGRADE ON MAY 17
On May 17, Philippine Airlines will strive to maintain normal flight schedules even as the government carries out corrective maintenance from 2AM to 4AM at the Philippine Air Traffic Management Center to replace the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and upgrade the air traffic management system (ATMS).

Change in Legazpi airport code to DRP (from the current LGP) effective December 15
From December 15, 2022, the Bicol International Airport in Legazpi, Albay will have a new three-letter designator code “DRP” that airlines will use for baggage tagging and incorporate into their automated systems.

e-Travel Registration to replace eARRIVAL CARD – Travelers may access new portal
Starting December 1, 2022, the Philippine Government will transition the old e-Arrival CARD Registration to a new e-Travel Registration, which travelers may access via a new portal (https://etravel.gov.ph) replacing the old www.onehealthpass.com.ph.

Manila Airport closed temporarily as Tropical Storm Paeng ("Nalgae") approaches
To protect the safety of the traveling public, the aviation authorities have temporarily closed down Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA – “MNL”) until 6 PM today, on account of weather conditions caused by the passage of Tropical Storm PAENG (international name “NALGAE”).

Manila Airport closure extended to 10 PM due to Tropical Storm Paeng ("Nalgae")
To protect the safety of the traveling public, the aviation authorities have extended the temporary closure of Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA – “MNL”) until 10 PM tonight, local Philippine time. This is precautionary, based on expected weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm PAENG (international name “NALGAE”).
